Multimedia Download Center is comprised of a massive collection of computer media files, online tools and other resources. About 99% of everything in the Download Center is free. The
Download Center is a never-ending project with new items being added on a regular basis. Think of it as a one-stop resource for the most popular file downloads online with quick, easy, no-hassle access being a priority.
How We Got Started
As heavy users of computer media ourselves, we simply got tired of weeding through untold numbers of websites just to find the free downloads we needed at any given time. You've probably been there yourself: claims of "free" things that turn out not to be free after all, clicking through pages and pages just to find a few samples, trying to pick the right website out of a Search Engine's list of possibilities, only to try and try again to eventually get what you need - and so on and so forth. Yeah, we got very tired of it and decided to do something about it. Nifter.com is our solution; a central online location where you can find a wide variety of FREE multimedia files that are easy to find and download.
The Download Center Index
This page is home base for the Download Center and provides an index of computer media we have on-site right now. Every time something new is added to Nifter.com, the index is updated also.
The index is divided into main categories with links to each section's sub-categories listed below it. Because there is so many categories available, we have initially 'hidden' them when the page is first loaded to make better use of space and keep clutter to a minimum. To 'unhide' and view categories for a specific section (media type), click the link labeled "Show Categories" found under the main category listing.

go to this page which has all sub-categories displayed at once, with nothing being initually hidden. (Which requires Javascript.)
